A scurry through Amazon turned up this little book. Unfortunately, neither the book cover or blurb told me much about the contents but at a low price, decided it would be worth taking a chance on.

As it turned out, it's just a presentation pack of postcards featuring Alex Ross' paintings from various sources. If you like his work, then chances are you already own larger versions of these from his plates, comics or 'Mythology: The DC Comics Art Of Alex Ross'. Whether or not you will use these postcards for the purpose they are intended is purely up to the individual. Bear in mind this is a first edition and the value of Ross' published work is steadily going up, then you might consider buying and putting this one away for that rainy day when you're glad you got it when it first came out.

Alex Ross isn't the first artist to bring water colour or painting to realistic depiction super-heroes but he is one of the most revered today and this undoubtedly is a nicely put together sampler.

I would recommend caution in buying it as a job lot with either the 'Green Lantern Journal' or 'Flash Journal' as about from the colour cover and 4 pages of black and white prints inside, these are just rather expensive notebooks.
