Mars
they Laughed.
You may recall
that a couple of months ago we ran a report
on the strange goings on at NASA concerning the first Mars Probe,
which vanished when - ho ho - it supposedly had a problem reconciling
imperial and metric measurements.
Our conspiracy
angle was instantly dismissed by the rest of the press as the caffeine-fueled
ramblings of SF nerds, but then a funny thing happened. A week after
we ran out story, the second mars mission vanished too !
We didn't even
bother pointing out that the missions were going to overfly the
Pyramids on Mars, despite the fact that the area on Mars the anomalies
are located in was of no interest to the stated mission goals of
either of the failed probes.

And guess what
NASA are saying happened to the second probe? Well, it landed on
the edge of a canyon and tipping over, tumbled into the darkness
and plummeted to destruction.
Shit, what
complete bad luck. All of the Red Planet to land on, and our little
baby has to land on a cliff. Damn those meddling ledges.
Anyway, needless
to say a lot more interest has been focused on our original story
now, so it is homage to this tribute to our journalistic prowess
that we bring you our screen-saver of victory!
If you have
a PC, then you can now load up on a virtual view of the Mars landscape
and gaze in awe as well rendered views of the red planet float serenely
across your monitor
Unlike either
of the two crashed mars missions, this screen-saver does use actual
NASA photos as the base of its code.
