Shadowrain
Shadowrain is a free resource for writers of dark fantasy and
horror, brought to you by Robin Morero. Apparently, they have regular
contact with the UK publishing imprint, Earthlight. Not sure what
form this contact takes, but the sites does carry quite a few sponsorship
positions for Earthlight.

Genres include science fiction, horror, romance, portraiture and
fantasy. He’s got a gallery of traditional paintings, one of electronic
arts, and another for the illustrations and card art he’s done for
Magic The Gathering and Vampire the Eternal Struggle (collectable
trading card games, for those not in the loop on this one).

A role-playing game site (fantasy oriented) from Tracy Saunders,
where you can find new, original spells, artifacts, creatures and
adventures for your sword and sorcery RPG. Also, you can join in
their free-form roleplaying sessions on this site’s bulletin board.

Portal
Site for a soon-to-be-in-print magazine of short fantasy, science
fiction & horror from Scott Marks. Each issue will contain original
works of fiction by authors from all around New Zealand. At least
one story in each issue will be from a young adult or teenage author.
Their website will contain reviews of speculative fiction, interviews,
events and resources for writers and artists of speculative fiction.
The site was still under construction when we visited, and hadn’t
launched yet (27th November 2001).
